This website should work for you
However you read, listen or move around a page, you should be able to find what you need here. If something gets in your way, tell us and we will help.
You deserve equal access
Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center is a d/b/a of Liberty County Hospital District No. 1, a Texas governmental entity. As a public entity, we follow Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act. As a hospital that takes Medicare and Medicaid, we also follow Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act.
Our goal is for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is the standard the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services have set for websites like ours.
When we build or change a page, we check that:
- You can reach every link, button and form with a keyboard alone.
- Screen readers can read the page, and images have text descriptions.
- Text has enough contrast and can be made larger without breaking the page.
- Forms tell you what each field needs and what went wrong.
Where you may run into trouble
We are still working on a few parts of this website. If one of these gets in your way, call us and we will give you the same information another way.
- Some forms and documents are PDF files, such as the financial assistance application. Some may not read well with a screen reader.
- Some links take you to websites other companies run for us, such as the patient portal, online bill pay and price transparency. We ask those companies to meet the same standard, but we do not control their pages.
- Older news posts and photos may be missing text descriptions.
Let us know what got in your way
If a page, form or document does not work for you, or you need information in another format, contact us. It helps to tell us:
- The page or document you were using.
- What you were trying to do.
- The best way to reach you.
